Will be in CERN, Geneva for 10 weeks as a summer student.Where is the best place to live?

I am an Indian student, and will be there on a limited budget. I want to know about the best places to live in. The place should be economic, close to CERN, safe for women. Is nearby are in France better to put up in? What would be the approximate cost of living :food, rent, etc.
