Do you prefer to live in a big city or small town?
I live in a big city and want to get away from it sometimes, but I know that there also things about it that I will miss. If you move. What will you miss about your city or town?

- small town Im from a big city originally and can live without the smog and traffic
- i live in a real nice suburb near chiago and have the advantage of both
- A small town in the mountains like Leavenworth, Washington.
- A small town in the country of N.H. so relaxing!
- I lived in a big city, on the west coast. I won't say where it was, but it's initals were L.A. 9 years ago, I relocated to a small mid-western city. they call it a city, but it's still a town. After about 3 weeks, I forgot where I left. People are real. I don't miss a THING. People actually connect with you. They're not plastic. That's worth the price of admission, alone. I'll NEVER EVER GO BACK. I forgot to tell you one small detail. When I was there, I got kidnapped, by gun point. A guy with a gun, out of prison. With 2 mean guys with him. They took me up in a Hotel, and said they were going to push me out a high rise window. Needless to say, I got away. There's NO BIG BUILDINGS here.
- besides college I have always lived in out in the country on a farm and I will never live in a city. I had to live in town for a while, but I prefer my neighbors about 1 mile away. Yes there are disadvantages (like no broadband or DSL or internet, and I have to drive 15 miles for a gallon of milk, but the calm and solitide of the country is the best. I live 1/2 mile off the Illinois river and 5 miles from the Mississippi river at the base of the river valley bluffs. I leave my backdoor unlocked and the keys in the truck and I know my neighbors. I love it here
