  1. Houston is booming.
  2. new york, Boston, dallas, i would go to boston or new york... oh ya, houston is good too..
  3. THAT.... is a double edged question. Why? Well.... okay. Let's talk about where I live. I'm in Central NJ. I live in a small house, about 1400 sq. ft. and I manage the sales department of a med. mortgage company. If I loose my job I could have another one tomorrow, no problen. Same could probably be said for most of the North East nad the West Coast, Chicago, any large metropolitan area. No let's talk about cost-of-living. I described my house above. How much do you think it would go for in you neck of the woods? Mine would cost you about $395,000. Did I mention it's one of the cheaper homes in the area? Oh yes, and my property taxes just went up to $9,000 a year. So yes, it's a lot easier to get a job, start a business, make money in general around here but the cost is the trade-off. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the grass is always greener on the other side. Well I've turned over lots of grass. It's all brown on the other side. Before you are so quick to leave Texas, your home, to fine your fortune, be sure you look down and see exactly what your standing on. You may be standing on a goldmine. Don't be in such a hurry to run away. (We do have great pizza though. You texans haven't got a clue about pizza.)
  4. Hi Princess, I guess it would depend on what kind of job or career you are looking for. Things may be dead there, but Houston or Dallas/Ft. Worth could be a great place to work. Since you are not too far from the west coast, LA or San Diego, or San Francisco could be great places to work. However, the cost of living out there is pretty crazy. If you want to leave Texas, you could consider Florida or places like Chicago, Cleveland, Washington, Baltimore, New York, or even New Hampshire is a pretty business-friendly state. Consider the cost of living when you look for a place to live. I am in northeast Ohio, and while the cost of living isn't that bad, Ohio is not what you could call a business-friendly state. yeah, its full of republicans, so it surprises me that the state makes things so difficult at times. New York taxes everything so that may not work for you. So, do some really good research and see what fits you. See what you want. See what city or state will work best for you. If its just a job... again the northeast could work best for you. Do some checking online to see what state has the lowest unemployment, or the highest employment. Check for salaries and open jobs. Check for educational opportunities too. good luck!
  5. for me that's is not the main problem to working or business any where,,just u must have confident for Ur self and have a good future plan.
  6. There are several places to live but you may not be able to move...Tennessee is pretty nice and the prices areVery reasonable..Central Tenn...Why don't you start a home-based business // where you live//// that is something that will benefit the average homemaker and her friends and relatives and get a discount on everyday products for herself...I know a few , if you care to ask.....God Bless your interests.....
