What is the best small town/city to live in?? :)?

Ive been looking into small towns and cities all accross the US and I kinda just want some other peoples oppinions :) It would just be my husband and I, and our small dog. We dont have any kids. We earn a middle class income so obviously places like Aspen are out of the question :P Thanks for any oppinions/links/pics/whatever :)

1. Indianapolis is great place to live, It is small short and sweet city. no traffic , low tax cheaper that other city.
2. Dunedin, Florida Its outside the tampa bay area on the water
3. Port Chester,NY in the suburbs. It's real close to Playland like 15 mins. (an amusement park). ANDD...it's also real close to rye beach!!!
4. Prescott AZ! :)
5. Ft. Collins, CO is a fabulous place to live with a small town feel. The weather is wonderful and the people are great. Everything you can imagine is here for you to do.
