I live in a small city in Belize - would like to have ideas of small business but not the traditional ones?

i have a small capital to start the business. thus i would like to have a sound investment. I live in the capital city of Belize called Belmopan

2. You live in Belize and have a business all around you. We Americans love anything we deem "exotic" or "foreign" and with eBay at your fingertips you have a gold mind at your doorstep. You could also create a website and market local artists and craft makers items, with you getting a percentage of each sale (websites are very inexpensive and with pay-pal available you would be able to take credit cards and have a shopping cart). If this doesn't appeal to you then I suggest you read up on other small business that have been successful and see if any of the ideas are something you may want to invest in for your own business. Sorry forgot to add that you may want to look into creating vacations and marketing them to people in other countries that vacation in Belize. You can either create "tour" vacations and cater to universities or "romantic getaways" for honeymooners and market through wedding coordinators and travel agencies.
