how do you get transscript for court case south carolina concerning child?

trying to get info on case concerning child support the transcript that took place dorchester county south carolina. what if i could get a cause or case number is there a way to get the transcript online.

1. I am not sure about South Carolina in particular, but I can tell you (as an attorney who had family law cases elsewhere) that most transcripts involving children are sealed. You won't find it on any of the law search engines, nor will the prothonotary release it. You would have to petition the court and justify reasons why you need it and it must be real valid and dire a request.
