where is the best country side town to raise kids? (no big cities please)?
More details about me and family... we're a young couple from East Asia with two toddlers, finding really hard to adjust the lifestyle here in metro Los Angeles with all the pollution and finger pointing drivers... :( Any child friendly place with a friendly neighborhood that will welcome us? Someone told us Los Angeles is a land of broken dreams... so sad!!!

- South Park, Colorado.
- Covington, Georgia is a wonderful small town to raise children. It's 35 miles east of Atlanta. You're not isolated, but you don't have the congestion of big cities. I lived there for 58 years and long to return every day. My two siblings and I were born and raised there - enjoyed being there, and feel out of place because we're not there. It's just a really nice Southern town with friendly, welcoming people making up the population. Check it out! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! I forgot to tell you that I raised my son there, also. He lived there until he was 24. He lived at home and commuted to UGA. He moved further south when he fell in love with a beautiful Floridian. His one desire is to move back. I hope this helped!
- white county georgia that is if ur white if not than i would stay away from there
- The best place to raise kids is the place with the best schools. In general, the Northeast and Midatlantic US has the best public schools. Out of those the best schools would be in the most affluent areas. Try the Suburbs of Boston - Weston, Tewskbury. Connecticut - Greenwich, Bethel Long Island NY - Great Neck, Port Washington Westchester - Scarsdale. New Jersey - Short Hills, Alpine, Westfield
