Public Comments

  1. miami beach
  2. DISNEYLAND! Florida is one of the top Disneyland theme parks in all of the US.
  3. Orlando Studios.. Island of adventures had big rides and small slow rides for the little people. Also, the studio part is amazing. I recommend there.
  4. Adventure Island. The best water park in the world.
  5. Anyplace on the east coast by the beach. The beaches on the east coast of Florida are so gorgeous. Try Little Talbot Island in Jacksonville, also Daytona Beach...and Key West! If you want to go on a good ride, try Busch Gardens (Tampa) or Disneyworld (Kissimmee/Orlando)...actually Islands of Adventure (Orlando) is a lot of fun too.
  6. just go to Orlando you don't really need to go to Disney world and spend all that money. there is a million things to do there
  7. the best place is in orlando and tampa! Orlando- universal studios (hulk) Tampa-bush gardens (sheikra)
  8. maybe you and your brother better take separate vacations.
  9. Busch Gardens in Tampa would be your best bet. They have lots of great rollercoasters, but they also have lots of animals, shows, a few lower key rides, and an awesome playground for your brother(I wish I was still little it is that good). They just opened a new thing called Jungala, which is geared toward little kids I think. Universal Studios in Orlando has smaller rides that your brother won't mind, and lots of shows. They have bigger rides for you, but nothing as good as rollercoasters at Busch Gardens. Islands of Adventure in Orlando has more rides. Universal and Islands are connected, and you can get tickets that let you into both parks, or you can go in one, and he can go in the other. Most of the lines are enclosed and air conditioned(which your adults will really like), unlike Busch Gardens. The scenary/decorations are better at Universal/Islands, as opposed to Busch Gardens. At Universal, the scenary setup is like spending "a day in the city", very attractive. Skip Epcot if you want more big rides, but they do have a enough to keep you entertained. Dunno about Disney, but my impression is that it's for younger kids. Skip Sea World if you want more rides. What do you think of water rides? Adventure Island (across the street from Busch Gardens in Tampa, they have little kid and older rides). Wet'n'WIld(haven't been to, in Orlando). Aquatica(SeaWorld's brand new water park, haven't been to, in Orlando, and I'd recommend it over Adv. Island since they are not new). In the heat of summer, water parks are a lot of fun. I don't like big rides, they make me sick. I love water parks, but there are more daring rides for you. So... you have a lot more options in Orlando, but Tampa is better for you as it has better rollercoaster rides, and has just as much for your little brother. However, you parents will not be impressed by the city of Tampa itself, the area around Busch Gardens isn't that nice, Orlando is newer/nicer in general. Buy your tickets online, in advance by 7 or 10 days I think, to take advantage of advanced ticket discounts. Or call the hotels to see if they sell FL resident tickets, so you can get the discount that way despite not being from FL. Or call AAA, if you are a member for discount tickets. At Universal/Islands, bring your AAA card for discounts on purchases in the park.
  10. Universal's Islands of Adventure. Lot's of amazing thrill rides and coasters for you, and smaller rides for your brother. This park has it all. Disney would only appeal to your brother, while Universal Studios would only appeal you you.
  11. Disneyland. It's great for you and your brother. If you go, you HAVE to go on Rocking Roller Coaster. IT'S AMAZING! There's so many fun rides. & SeaWorld is fun also.
