What is the best city in Florida for children, education and cost of living?

Looking to move soon. I have the freedom to live anywhere in the state. I have 3 children 6, 5 and 1.

1. it may be kind of expensive but i've found that destin florida is a very nice place to live. people are very friendly and the schools are real nice there.
2. Anywhere but Tampa or south of Tampa. Most overpriced homes reside in Naples, Bradenton, Sarasota for the gulf side, atlantic side, im not sure. Northern Florida still gets pretty cold, but in terms of house prices, home insurance, north Florida is your best bet. Check out Gainesville or Jacksonville, U.F. is in Gainesville, so post public education there is excellent for future consideration.
3. i live in gainesville, fl and its a nice place to live but VERY expensive. rent skyrockets every semester when new students come to town. its a good size town, but it gets very crowded with the students everywhere. i would actually like to move somewhere else in florida that isn't such a student town.
