What cities in Florida are not hit by hurricanes as frequently as others?

1. Cites in the north west are not usually hit like Tallahassee.

3. Well, if you look back at historical hurricane and tropical storm tracks, you will see that most of the state gets hit rather evenly. The area hit the most, and the worst is south Florida, but the panhandle sure gets its share as well.
4. The Northeast coast of Florida is rarely if ever hit. Palm Coast, St Augustine, Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville. Also further inland and to the north seems to evade the damage of coastal areas...places like Gainesville and Ocala. If you're dead set on further south, northern Palm Beach County and Martin County have historically fared well...places like Jupiter, Stuart and Port St Lucie.
