Best places to shop in New York?
I'll be in New York on the 1st and I'm not sure what stores I should check out. I normally shop at places like Urban Outfitters and Forever21, so what are some stores in New York that are similiar? We have about $1,000 shopping money to split between my mom and I, so please reccomend stores where I can get the most for my money. And note: this is for back to school clothes. (We'll mainly be in the Manhattan area). Thank you!

- Hey, I'd check out Century 21 first -- its a huge outlet department store that carries all the famous brands (Juicy, Rebel Yell, Elements, Ben Sherman, Vivian of Westwood, etc.) and its for all ages - even your Mom can shop there. They have a huge dept for shoes, purses, jewelry, makeup, clothing and even home. Also, if you go to the Soho neighborhood along Broadway, you'll see lots of stores -- Urban, MNGO, Zara, Bloomingdales, Esprit, H&M, etc.. Another location you may want to try is the 59th and Lexington neighborhood. M

- I'm kinda new at this myself... But you should go to yelp.com... That should give you good information about shops around town and it also lets you put in your price range... Theres a store called Strawberry I checked it out and it seems to be simialrrr to forever 21... Its also on yelp.com too... Cent. 21 is the SHIT... When I went to New York I was in there for about 5 hours and still was not ready to leave when it was time to go. But if u do go, go in the morning to beat the rush. And to get to the dressing room ( the line was so damn long girls were trying on their clothes in line and around the store ) They have good stuff at all prices... And I'm not sure where but theres a coupon out somewhere... I don't even remember how I got it. And the Forever 21 down there is fuckin huge... You will go crazy but Like again you should go in the morning for this store because this store is always dirty but they seem to have the best of the best here and more clothing than any Forever 21 store I have been to. ( check out on Yelp.com as well you will find it there ) Its like on top of some shops...
