My budget is 60 USD upto 120 USD per day

- El Tovar is the best, but not in that price range, there was a Thunderbird lodge next door which is much cheaper. Both are inside the park on the south rim
- Flagstagg or grand canyon - KOA campground camping cabins. For only $45-65 per night all you need to bring is a sleeping bag or linens. They are very nice and clean. They usually have a pancake breakfast for only 3-4 dollars every morning. Our family uses the KOA cabins a lot Check out http://www.cheap-fun-family-travel.com there is an entire trip based out of the Grand Canyon area and using the KOA cabins.
- Try a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Motel located in Tusyan (one mile south of the Main Gate entrance to the South Rim). Moderately priced and a clean property with a small indoor pool and hot tub. Dependable and several restaurants (2) right across the road!
- National chains in Tusyan (just outside the park) are cheaper than staying in the park. I stayed one night in Tusyan and one night in El Tovar and that worked nicely. Most rooms within the park aren't within sight of the rim anyway. Plus, it's not like Niagara Falls - the canyon's not lit up at night. Good luck and enjoy your visit!!!
- Treat yourself to 1 night at The Bright Angel Lodge -----right on the South Rim of The Grand Canyon and in the middle of everything you want to see. They offer small cabin-like rooms -----very authentic and rustic. It's in your budget to stay there. They also have a coffee shop with nice views of the canyon, though I highly suggest that you have breakfast at the El Tovar Hotel. Breakfast there is THE BEST in comparison to every other place to eat at the canyon, and the prices are GREAT for breakfast at the El Tovar. It's a National Landmark that is so rich in history too. The El Tovar IS way over your budget to be able to stay at the hotel, but you certainly can have a nice breakfast in their dining room while having incredible views of the Grand Canyon while you dine ----it's THE best! You can even hang out on the porch of the historic El Tovar. Dinner is waaaaaaaay too pricey at the El Tovar. If you find that the Bright Angel Lodge is too high in price (depending on the season), opt for The Seven Mile Lodge just outside the Grand Canyon, in Tusayan. Tell 'em that Lori Ann sent you --- Becky and Pete will give you a GREAT deal, I assure you! Be sure to make prior reservations for lodging at ANY hotel at the canyon. It's busy there and usually booked solid all year 'round (depending on weather). If you have ANY questions about anything regarding the Grand Canyon, feel free to add me to your contact list and e-mail me. I lived and worked at the Grand Canyon and in Tusayan for over 10 years. Have a fantastic time! You'll be at an elevation of 7000 feet, so be sure to drink plenty of water and acclimate yourself. NOTE: With the high cost of gas and our strained economy, normally high-priced hotels at the Grand Canyon and other popular vacation destinations, have lowered costs considerably. Ten years ago, you could have never stayed at The Bright Angel Lodge for under 100.00 (U.S.) for one night. Seize the moment! Have a nice time and be safe! Also -- Tusayan is SEVEN miles south of the the Grand Canyon (proper). Though they have moved the Park's entrance gate south a few miles, Tusayan is 7 miles from the Canyon, not one mile. (They didn't name the motel: "Seven Mile Lodge" for nothing).
