Does anyone know any good places to visit in or near Hayesville, North Carolina?

My BF and I are going there in January and we're making a list of everything we would like to do. Any recommendations would be appreciated. And also, what kind of clothes should we bring? I know it's going to be cold, but will it be snowing?

1. Hayesville is a great place to visit with a ton of excellent restaurants. Personally i would try the Cherokee Grill. As for things to do there is not really much going on, but there are parks and some historical places to see. Go to Asheville they have excellent clubs because it is near a college campus. Blowing Rock, and grandfather Mountain are most definitely things to put on your list to see; just remember some places will be closed because of the cold, wind, and possibly snow or ice. For your own taste look at www.visitnc.com. Oh and wear very warm clothing.
