How can I compare the cost of living in specific European cities compared to specific American cities?

Specifically looking for Houston, USA to Geneva, Switzerland and Houston, USA to Amsterdam, Holland.

1. Do a search on 'cost of living' comparisons. There are many websites that will be happy to compare cities across the world. I was just checking out cities in Romania compared to cities in the US and to Moscow.
