Karachi in Pakistan is officially one of the cheapest Cities in the world, anyone thinking of going?

For a holiday? or retirement? Why is it that so many Pakistani's are leaving despite it being so cheap and islamic? to the simple person, yes there are churches there, but you fail to mention the regular attacks on them and the number of christian's killed by muslims. In your view, just having a church is enough tolerance already, how sad! Pakistan was created so MUSLIMS could have their own Islamic country! Yes, there are no jobs, that's cause ISLAM DOESN'T WORK!

1. It is for a reason, that's why I'm not going there.
2. I'm seriously considering emigrating to Pakistan. I just want to make sure of what I'd be entitled to as regards Welfare Benefits, free housing, schooling and healthcare. I'd also like a Pakistani Government grant to build a Christian church and British cultural centre.
3. I get the impression life is cheap too....;hmmnnn wish them well esp those who came here to hate us....I wish them a safe journey home.
4. Firstly, who says its Islamic ? When I visited it few years ago I didn't find anything Islamic there (apart from the mosques around the city with very few people in them at time of their prayer), it was just a normal city with no organisation at all. Traffic was flowing just out of blue, God knows how they don't hit each others cars/bikes etc. Why is it cheaper? Difficult life. Not much life security, lack of order & discipline in the city. High crime ratio. As someone said, Churches, there are at least 20 Churches (may be more) in Karachi, majority of them is Catholic, some are protestants. The British Council's office with a cultural centre already exists in Karachi. Why Pakistanis are running from there? Not easy to get a job for a normal citizen, due to high population & corruption in every field of life. Pakistan is a country where Politicians are highly corrupt & rob the Nations money with both hands, a country that is poor with rich people living in it. There is no balance in distribution of wealth, poor gets poorer & dies with hunger, richer gets rich by sucking poor's blood. Getting ones right is pretty much impossible, that makes the younger educated generation run away from the country to seek reasonable secure future for themselves (they usually immigrate to other countries using legal ways). Those who are not well educated they are even worst by coming as refugees (Economic migrants in West) putting burden on TAX payers. BTW, any religion including ISLAM, has nothing to do with jobs or dis-organisation. Humans commit wrong deeds & blame it on religion. No religion is bad, so lets no bring religion into it. Can you please give me link to Yahoo news for attacks on Churches in Pakistan (not that I am in favour of Pakistanis but I'd like to know it for my own knowledge since I was unable to find it on Yahoo or Google).
