What are the nearest places to live near the las vegas strip?

my family is planning to move to vegas in 6 months and my parents are going to work at the paris hotel. we need a house near the vegas strip? i know places like summerlin but its to expensive. do you guys know any other places near the strip?r thanks =] 10 point for the best answer.
