What city in Texas is the best place to live close to the gulf of mexico?
I am really interested in BayTown but i am open to other cities/ towns that are really close to the gulf coast and Interstate 10. Please list why you think these cities/towns are the best. Thanks

- Baytown, a little too large and industrialized for my taste. How close do you have to be to I-10? If 20-25 minutes is okay, I think you should really take a look at Seabrook and Kemah. Both of these smaller sized towns are right on the water, very close to NASA, great places to eat, and much classier places than Baytown.
- Mt. Belview is nice and they have a really good school district and has a more small town feel. League City/ Clear lake is also really nice they have nice stores and always looks neat and clean. Trust me you DO NOT want to live in baytown if you are looking for the best. Baytown has a problem with people droping kids off at stores like they are daycares and it makes the stores even new ones appear to be run down. The San Jacinto mall is HORRIBLE no good stores. Traffic on Garth the main road is terrible.
