2. I just read an article last week on msn about the 10 best cities that are affordable and have a good overall economy. I can't remember all the cities...but there were at least 4 Texas cities including Austin, Dallas, etc. I would also look into cities in the Midwest such as Indiannapolis, Denver, etc.
