- Well, in my humble opinion, none of them are major cities, so forget about Geneva, Vancouver, Auckland and the rest. They'd all be rural areas or small towns in developed countries so property would be reasonably cheap, wealth is reasonably fairly distributed, you've got decent health services, policing and a good human rights situation. How about, anywhere in Iceland including the capital; Reykjavík is a small, pleasant sort of town. Rural NZ where I live. Rural Sweden, Norway, Finland, France (all the poverty and ethnic conflict is in or near the cities), rural Spain or Portugal, the Maritime provinces or rural BC in Canada, or the Cook Islands.
- Italy, Ireland, Germany, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Russia
