Should I place a $100 bet online for my friend?
My friend wants me to place a $100 bet for him at Bodog.com because he does not have computer. He wants me to use my money to cover the bet and place the bet for him. The only problem for me is, if you win the bet, Bodog mails a check to you and it takes up to 30 days. I can’t wait for 30 days to receive my money and I would like to use it for personal things. I asked my friend to give me his money so I can place a bet for him. He got mad and yelled at me because he said he shouldn’t and he doesn’t feel he has to wait 30 days. My friend said I can live without the $100 for a month because $100 is not a lot of money. I would like for my friend to win money. He is correct, I can really live without $100 but what’s the right thing to do here? Use my money to place a bet or should he use his own money to place a bet?

- Don't ever do anything for a friend that involves you spending their money and them paying you back later. It sounds a little off that he would get so mad about you asking for the money from him. Sounds to me like he doesn't have it and is using you to try to make it. I have learned that even the best friends cannot be trusted with money. DON'T DO IT!!! If he wants to make the bet, why doesn't he go to your house to place the bet or use the computers at the library? It just doesn't sound right. Think about it.
- I agree with the person above for the same reasons ^^^^^ DONT DO IT!!!
- Heck NO!!! If your friend don't have a computer but have the money. Then let him go to a computer cafe' and place his own bet or let him used your (as you watch him) with his own money. Money is among the many reasons to drive a wedge between friendships. You just tell him to give you the money and you will place the bet for him. If he claim that he will pay you later, then tell him that you can't do it.
