Where are the best places to live in Vegas where you can have views of the lights?

Well I would think the strip, but not sure if there are any lofts there and if so I would think they would be extremely expensive. Any other places, perhaps tall apartment buildings that would give you a view of all the glamour?

2. The top of the Rio has a lounge and restaurant called the Voodoo Lounge. There are awesome views of the strip from there. If you go up early enough in the evening you don't have to fight the night club crowd and you wont have to pay to get in. Also the Stratosphere and Eiffel Tower Oops I read your question wrong. Places to live....there are lots of condos going up near the Strip recently. Further outside of town if you head East to Henderson you can find some pretty good views of the city. Not usually right in town but outside of the main part of Henderson up in the hills.
3. The Lakes area. If you are on Durango, say between Sahara and Tropicana, you can look down on the Strip. At night it's gorgeous. Sometimes yu can wrangle an apartment with a Strip view. We used to live on Charleston and Durango years ago and sat on the block wall fence and watched the Dunes implode. As long as you don't have buildings blocking your view, I'd say shoot for that area.
4. Look into some of the Luxury Condos they are currently building on the strip. *
5. Some of the better views are from the top of the parking lots of many casino hotels. The very best is the top of the Stratosphere Hotel that will give you a 360 view of the entire valley.
