Where are the best places to live if you want to be successful in fashion?

I like fashion merchandising, if I wanted to be successful in that arena, where should I live?

5. NYC. And to all you idiots that say "LA!" you're wrong. I live in Brentwood area of LA and there is absolutely nothing here that has to do with fashion. Sure, there are celebrities and boutiques, but we are talking about real fashion here. NYC is where VOGUE and many fashion offices are. San Francisco is a good place to start school at the Academy of Art University. Then you could transfer over to a university in NYC.
6. i agree with roxy theres away more fashion stuff here in nyc then LA theres way more fashion magazine offices, modeling agencys etc NYC.....but its EXPENSIVE
