Where can i find acting auditions in Connecticut?

I am interested in being an actress and i live in Connecticut. I live about and hour away from New York City if i take the train but i don't want to go to New York City to find acting jobs so i was wondering if anybody knew any websites or places you can find acting auditions that take place in CONNECTICUT?

1. I've lived in CT my entire life, and have been doing community theatre as as hobby for 30 years. There are lots of places in CT where you can pick up acting experience. One of the helpful websites is Connecticut Callboard. They're at http://website.ctcallboard.com. Look at the links on the left side of the page to find the links that take you to audition notices. My favorite CT theater website is Curtain Call, at http://members.aol.com/mellifur/. I like this one because it breaks down the community theaters by county, and has a map, so you can see which theaters are closest to where you live. Good luck and have fun!
2. jacneed.com newenglandfilm.com netheater411.com look into grant wilfley casting, they do big projects in connecticut and look for local actors also check ct film commission website because they list casting calls there also always check the local newspaper, find the arts section and see where they list auditions or talent searches
