Best places in Colorado?
Im going on a vacation in 1 week and we are going through Colorado, we can go anyplace in the state, we can stay for about a week. We like outdoorsy stuff and typical tourist stuff like theme parks, museums, etc. not shopping and things like that, family oriented, ages 11 and up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

- pearl st. rocky mountain national park glenwood hot springs flatirons mall mesa verde
- The Rockies my sister was stationed there with her husband like 10 years ago and since have moved back to the states but they go once a year to visit because they loved it out there so much and everything is opened late if you need go or get something.
- Visit the Million Dollar Highway from Durango to Sliverton continue on to the town of Ouray. 24 miles Northeast. be warned this is not a drive for the faint of heart. stay overnight in Ouray taking a 4 wheel drive excursion ( off -roading) to abandoned mines ghost towns the following morning.
- Go to Aspen! It's beautiful! P.S. Never go to Wisconsin
- Mesa Verde N.P. is a good jumping off point for exploring that region, which includes Telluride (very nice). And it's not far from Monument Valley just past the Four Corners (couple of hours by car), which is one of the most interesting places in the country.
