What are the best places to fish off of the texas coast?

I was going to go fishing before summer ends next weekend and i wanted to know a good spot to fish.

1. In Corpus you have Peoples T-head, pretty good place to fish, then there is Red Dot Pie, you have a chance of catching Reds and trout, along with other sorts of fish, and if you have a net, not a cast net, you can catch free shrimp.
2. Try the surf.. Any surf... Look for bait in the water... You can see them in swarms.. Watch for birds.. Fish the guts between sand bars... Use shrimp under corks, topwaters, soft plastics... Stay away from jellyfish.. Good Luck..
