What is the best Xbox Live headset (Xbox 360) I can buy for an affordable price?

I'm hoping to buy a new Xbox Live headset for my Xbox 360 with my Christmas money (if I don't get one for Christmas in the first place) and I wanna buy a headset that is durable, gives good quality sound, and doesn't cost over $100. My headset that came with the 360 broke, so durability is important, and I do know of the new wireless headset released, but I heard it has a weird sound issue, so if there's any better one out there, I'd like to know about it and where I could purchase it.
