How to move to america from england and whats america like to live in??

hi all i m fed up of britain and have always fancied living abroad and love the states so much even if i havent been there. i am just wondering how easy is it to move there? with visa's ? what jobs are there? which is the best place to move to? all theses things as i m very interested in moving to the states but have to weigh up the options to me. i ll be coming over towards end of yr for 3 weeks to look around for a place to live and a job etc and hopefully take it from there. i m looking for a greenkeeping/groundsman job at a golf course or sports ground if at all possible?? the more answers the better many thanks in advance hi i dont have a clue where abouts i d like to like as i live in a small village in the countryside in england so i think living in a big city is out the question as i dont think i d like it but somewhere close to all the things i would need plus a bit of nightlife when needed.

3. Don't get me wrong. As an American I am proud and love my country, but please remember the old saying "The grass is always greener in the other pasture." There is so much uncertainty with the elections this year that I would hate to see you get screwed over by political zealots trying to score points by throwing foreign visitors etc. out for some reason, as of yet unknown. You should come and visit, go to the heartland (the midwest)and see what true American spirit and determination is in this horrible economy. I will say that your british pound will get you further here in our country than our dollar would get in your country. I do hopw you come to visit and learn to appreciate your country all the more.
