Help me choose our new place to live?
We live in Tulsa, Oklahoma-Humid, miserable summers, with some snow/freezing in the winter. We have lived here forever and I've always wanted to move and experiece more. Now I am finally ready. Im an RN so its pretty easy to find employment. I have two daughters, ages 20 and 14, with the last one being biracial. We are wanting to move but are having some difficulties deciding where. Our first choice was Texas, but I hate the humid, horribly, hot summers. Sun is nice but Im not crazy about temps over 100 degrees. I know I dont want to live in California because of the high cost of living of most of the state. We want to move somewhere that, when we open the front door its so beautiful, preferably with mountains, and the ocean within and hour or 2 hours away. I also need somewhere that focuses on the importantance of education and embraces all races, as she is biracial. Im single (divorced), and want to find a place where there is alot to do. Where would you move?
