best cities in California? please help.?

Hey y'all. the year after next year, my family and I are moving to California. I just want to know some cities in California that are SAFE, affordable, good schools, and if possibly, popular. Please Help(: Thanks merry christmas & happy new year.

1. i think areas around san francisco are pretty nice. i dont like too much southern california.
2. If it's affordable, odds are it's not going to be very safe, popular, or have goods schools. I think Camarillo, California might not be too bad a place, but I don't know how much it may cost to live there now.

5. The bay area, better weather than LA, better school system, it;s kinda expensive but their is great public transport system.
