Where can an American (college student) travel and live richly because the US Dollar is powerful there?

I want to take a trip to a country where the dollar goes very far. My father told me of the days he'd go to Mexico with $100 and live like a king. I want to try that! Where are some places that I can do that these days?

2. Come to India. 1000 USD per month will do wonders.
3. Try Egypt. You can live as a king for $300 a month.
4. Your American Dollar might be a few cents stronger than ours, say 23 cents or whatever. If you do the math though you'll work out the aussies have a better deal cause your minimum wage is about 6 dollars and ours is closer to 13 dollars... After that conversion we are still making about 5 dollars more an hour than y'all.. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi.
5. Vietnam or Singapore or Thailand or Nepal or India or Africa. Just be aware that even if you may be able to afford some of what the country considers as luxuries... the coutnries where US dollars go farther have a lot less wealth and different standards of living that can include dangerous conditions and stuff so best to do your research about safety before diving in!
6. Thailand. Safe and Cheap. $1 is about 40 Baht, and that can go a long way. A lot of people there also speak English, so you never feel isolated. Most Thai and friendly and helpful.
