  1. It depends on what you like to do. K of P is pretty suburban and family oriented. I think the area you'll be working in is a Philly suburb, Fort Washington. Check out the small communities of Abington and Jenkintown. These suburbs will put you in between Philly and your job. You should be able to reach either in about 15 - 20 minutes from there.
  2. King of Prussia is a very nice area. Just for the record, the intersection of I-276 and 309 is not N. Philly...but rather the Ft. Washington, Ambler, Flourtown area...
  3. The intersection you are speaking of is the Turnpike and 309 in Fort Washington (you will be working on the highway?). King of Prussia is about 20 minutes from that area (depending on traffic). You may also want to look for housing in Flourtown (Erdenheim); Blue Bell; North Wales; Glenside; Cheltenham; and Fort Washington. King of Prussia is really nice, but the housing is very expensive. The mall is huge!
  4. Check out Manayunk- it might be a little better for a single person than the suburbs.
  5. my house!!!! lol just kidding Philadelphia has so much to offer. but if your looking for rich areas king of prussia has a lot of glitz and glamour...good luck and welcome....
