Where is the best place to live in Los Angeles for single 45yr guy WEHO, Hollywood Hills, Silverlake?

Looking for easy access to all? Looking for a place that I can walk to shops and restaurants when not wanting to use car. Nice, safe area with lots to offer and not to hard to access other parts of town. Have stayed near Beverly Center a few times and liked the area. Thanks for your help
