- Florida sounds like what you're looking for. Not anyplace though. Look into it. Newton, MA was voted safest place in the U.S. recently.
- The weather is generally warmer in the South and the Coastal States. Denver is a nice city, although we have winter, the severity and duration varies. Albuquerque is about an 8 hour drive South and is perhaps more mild on average. Hawaii does not have a winter in the traditional sense, and parts of Alaska are warmed by winds from the South Pacific. We are in a recession, and many businesses are going or have gone bankrupt, or are scaling back. That will pass in time. Meanwhile North Dakota has a shortage of people to employ. They are looking hard for good skilled people. On the other hand, winter can be longer and more severe. ND has a bad weather reputation, but has seemed to experience a climate change to much more mild over the past 20-30 years; with Spring coming earlier, and Fall, and Winter starting later. Every year for the past 10-15 years the corn harvest has been 3-5-7 days later than the previous year.
- Florida or somewhere near Florida..
- Northwest coast. Oregon or Washington state.
- San Francisco. Its warm and sunny. People aren't very mean. Lots of culture. There's a Chinatown
