Is it possible people who live in big cities all their lives have lost their grip on reality?

- No, it's not possible. It's certain. :)
- People in the country though can be very nieve, un street wise and could lack experiances and be fearful. Then again people in the town are more exposed, influenced and possibly more troubled. A bit of both i say!
- I think Maybe you could say film stars, music artists and people like that living the big time lose sight of reality but people living in big cities i just dont understand what you mean...why would they...that is their reality.
- first of all: what is YOUR definition of reality?? SUBURBIA IS NOT THE REAL WORLD HUN.
- I don't think it's entirely a geographical issue. People can be very curious and studious about things outside their environment. Or, conversely, they can be selfish and apathetic about it. I don't think there's any empirical evidence that someone from the deep city is any more or less concerned about global events than a "country bumpkin".
- Reality is true to the perceiver. Many perspectives create many realities. I think I understand what you mean with your question though. People who have lost touch with nature and the earth are living in a very different reality.
