Obama inauguration live online?
Anyone know where I can watch the Obama inauguration live online. I will be stuck in a class with a professor who is very strict on attendance. I will have a computer in front of me though and I am more than willing to ignore him in order to watch. So if anyone knows a place that will have a live web stream let me know. I heard cnn might do it but was not sure I was also wanting to know if anyone could confirm anywhere else to watch it as well. For the guy who said ron paul 08 I am glad you are proud that you are dumb enough to be openly lied to. I think it's awesome that you support a guy who wants to shrink government yet for some reason needs a "massive amount of tax dollars from the legalization of drugs." Of course I'm a silly liberal and am not intelligent enough to understand why an psuedo-anarchist state needs would need a populace addicted to taxation.
Public Comments
- I bet it will be on the FOX NEWS.com
- Have you been to the official inauguration site to look for information? They are having some sort of interactive thing for people with computers but I don't know if it's for the actual swearing in or just the Neighborhood Ball that night. (First link) There are lots of events spread out over three days that you might be able to catch on TV when you're not in class. (Second link.)
- It think it's more safe than going in person But i will never watch or go, Ron Paul 08!
- Al-jezerra will be caring it live being that they got one of their own elected
- Yep, it'll be online, for those of us who have to be at work in front of our computers. CBS News, CNN.com, and FOX News will all be streaming live video.
- Facebook is teaming up with CNN to show the Inauguration live onstream. http://pilipinopotayo.com/index2.htm has a link to the livestream.
- My brother and I created a website called lyvegyde (http://www.lyvegyde.com) that provides links to live online events and webcasts. We will keep updating our site whenever we find new inauguration links (such as CNN Live, C-SPAN, CBS, ABC, Fox, MSNBC, and more). If you are not able to listen to sound, the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (http://inaugural.senate.gov/) is going to webcast the inauguration with closed captioning. Thanks, Mary
