what are the best things to do in new york city?

i'm visiting my grandparents (they dont live in the big city but they live in NY) and I am planning to go into the city with some of my family there. What are the most fun things to do in NYC?

1. SHOP!!! lol i love shopping in new york, especially the little botique. and go eat at chcinatown. the food is amazing. or korean town.
2. Ice skating in Rockfeller Center. Times Squares amazing too, you can go to Virgin Records and they have almost every cd and movie imaginable
