Where is the best place to live in America?

I am from Jersey ( a british island) and was thinking about emigrating to America where is the best place to live?

1. Florida :) Especially the west coast. Love it here! P.S. I have a close friend that was born in the island of Jersey. ;-) Living here now. LOL
2. I never been to new york but its the most populated city in america and has lots of emigrants so i guess that would be cool
