- I was born in San Jose but lived in San Luis Obispo. Personally, I consider SLO to be a little slice of heaven on earth. But I would also live in San Jose, San Diego, or Irvine.
- Mission Viejo
- Del Mar!
- come to LA, city of angels!!!!
- Fuck America go to Australia best place ever

- I lived in Huntington Beach for a few years. Really nice there.
- A place near the beach that's inexpensive. Hahahah! You're funny!
- San Diego. Just big enough but not too big. Total beach town. We love it. Very excited about raising our first child here. Edit: My Sis in law lives in LA and she hates it. Too much traffic , crime, and people. If I had to choose somewhere else in Cali to live it would be SAN DIEGO. Duh. :)
- Carlsbad....Is a really nice town...its only like a 15-20 minut drive south to sandiego...
- San Jose by far. The area is not as dangerous as Salinas and not as expensive as Monterey. Also, the pollution levels are not so bad and you'll always get a nice tan.
- Denver, according to our news today - more people left california than moved there in past year. many of them went to colorado!
- I would recommend either Calabasas, Westlake Village, or Agoura Hills. All of them are 10 minutes from Malibu and they're in safe areas. Not to mention, it's about 20 minutes from Los Angeles/Hollywood.
- Thousand Oaks
- Glendale is very nice, they have Venice beach. I was actually born there and the people are very nice. I am Armenian by the way =). Also Redondo beach is very nice. Hope I helped you =).
- Try yahoo travels you get more better and convenient choices with complete details
- San Diego is beautiful but expensive, you may be able to get a good deal right now on a house to buy. San Fransisco: You can live in Pleasanton, which is only an hour train ride away and it beautiful Corona, Californa: You are an hour away from the beach, mountains, and the desert, anything you would like. Great school too! Very affordable home and apartment prices.
- Torrace californa is a wonder full city Not too far frm the beach
- Pasidina is really the only place i can think of in california where I might want to live. It is not too cheap but maybe with this economy you could find a house. I want to raise my kids in NYC. I think its a great place to grow up, there is so much to do and you dont need to be able to drive to do it. Also, its not far away from beaches, you could take the jitney or go on the long island rail road to get to the hamptons for a few days.
- Easy- to be completely honest these are as good as they come great areas, good schools, safe communities and overall have great climates and are wonderful places to live. Hope it helps a bit! Carmel near San Francisco (A bit colder, get the east coast kind of feeling but with beaches and conveniently near san francisco, beautiful area) Manhattan Beach near LA (more hip area for living, family friendly and kids will love it, nice beaches, kind of crowded at times) Carpenteria near Santa Barbara (personal favorite, near state street shopping, extremely close to the beach and great for kids) Corte Madera near San Francisco (amazing scenery, not too developed, quiet and close communities) Newport Beach of Orange County (close communities, amazing beaches, great shopping, perfect for kids) Irvine- near Newport (great access to the beach and shops as well as rural suburbs)
- First of all do you live in CA? Because if your from a difference state, it's a big price difference. Anywhere tropical is expensive, crowded and had violence. If your looking to the northern area of Ca the coast are cold and not that clean or pretty and can be expensive aswell. I live about 2 hours from Fort brag, 2hours from Redding, 2 hours from San Francisco, and next to Sacramento. I have to say that out of all the places I've lived Yuba City was the least expensive. It has a lot of up rising new businesses, a clean community and a large range of school choices. It's about 1-2 hours from everything also, Mountains, beach's and major city's. It's only 45min away from where I live but because it's not right next to the State capital or a Major City the price of living is cheaper. I would definitely go back if I could. ~Added note~ Most City's of CA have a huge populaces of certain cultures. Example:Yuba City - Middle eastern, Woodland - Latino, Sac - Varys (Russian, African American, Latino, White etc.), Davis - Asian, Vallejo - African American, and Asian. So people like to know small facts like this because they want to live if a comfortable environment.
- I suggest Long Beach. Our public school district's advanced programs are excellent.
- I understan you are looking for somewhere in California you are not too expensive. You can search www.allembassyonline.com
- Nowhere. California IS EXPENSIVE all around ESPECIALLY near the beach.
- Why go to California. Everyone else is leaving.
