Best place to live in South Carolina?

I would like a general area, it could be city or country, activities for various age groups, etc.

1. live in a nice home that has 3 bed rooms and 3 bathrooms and a big fire place and a house with a nice kitchen

3. Their are three main regions in SC (Lowcountry, Midlands, and Upstate/Upcountry) these regions each have one major town/city, but other smaller ones in that region too. For the Lowcountry I would recommend Charleston since it was the first city in SC and it is quite large now. In the midlands there is Columbia, but it's not exactly held in high regards when talking to people from the Lowcountry and Upstate. The main reason for that is due to Columbia being the state capital and was a preplanned city. In the Upstate/Upcountry there is Greenville which has as rivals Anderson and Spartanburg.
