  1. there is not really a huge difference in living costs most things are placed simialry throughout the north, exception being rent which will be higher in the major cities like belfast derry etc but if you come enoy cause its a lovely place
  2. Have a browse on property news....it has a section on rentals, it'll give you an idea of prices in different areas. Also consider thAat some areas may be cheaper to live in, but there may be travel implications! Swings and roundabouts.
  3. Derry is much cheaper than Belfast but Enniskillen is a better bet. Much nicer area to live.
  4. Northern Ireland is quite a small place, so the difference in value of the towns and cities is minimal. If you were to move to a rural location, you would have to take into account the amount of money you would spend on travel etc... than if you lived in the city. So; to your original question, I don't think there is a single place within Northern Ireland that is the cheapest, but you should choose the place that suits you most, so for example Place with the most amenities: Belfast (two airports, a port, widest choice of shops, best public transport networks, wider choice of social events, concerts etc...) Relaxed pace of life: Coastal town: Portrush, Portstewart, possibly somewhere in the Glens of Antrim. Deciding where to live is a hugely personal choice and not something to be taken lightly and most certainly not something to be decided by random people from the Internet. Your best bet is to come to Ireland for say, a week or so and decide where you like it the best, if you still wish to move. Having said all that, Ireland is gorgeous part of the world and if everything is to your liking, I would encourage you to move here and to enjoy it to the full! Hope I helped.
  5. Strabane or Larne, both cheap but fairly grim, but if you have English accent, Larne better bet and not so out of the way. Will probably get stick for this answer, but saying it as it is.
