How does Economic Depression affect Small cities compared to Big cities?

Hi, is it affecting them: - Same way/extent? - Small cities more affected? - Big cities more affected? WHY? THANKS. PS. I know we are not there yet and it is currently just a recession but some people predict depression in like 5 years and I am interested to know what you think as it is related to my investment strategy.

1. big city more affected because they need more money to run them
2. They hurt small cities more because there are less jobs available in smaller cities.
3. nobody is immune from this downturn everybody is affected from this economic bubble weather its big metro cities or remote village because we are all interconnected to each other one way or another.
