Where is the best place to live in the US, raising kids, and saving money?

1. Rochester MN is a frequent winner of that award. Madison WI is also a good place for the first two but can be fairly expensive.

7. Dont know where exactly but you should stick to small towns. It'll work if you live within easy driving limits of the city. We live in a small town and live about 45 minutes from a LARGE city. We live about 20 minutes from a sm/med city. I love it. I was raised in DC and small towns are safer. We havent had a murder in 40 years! If you like changes in the seasons then PA is the BEST place to be! Choose PA, LOL.
8. I think Delaware's the best. I spent some time there and made great friends. It's generally peaceful and the neighborhood is very friendly.
