Is Houston, Texas a good place for a single black woman to live?

I'm looking to relocate to Houston soon. I don't know anyone there but I have heard good things about it. I currently live in Chicago and I hate it. Is this a good place for a single black woman? Where do black professional people live in Houston?

1. "Is this a good place for a single black woman?" Sure. Being single or black or a woman doesn't matter. It's a decent place for anyone to live, nobody really cares about race or any of that here, Houston is a very diverse city. "Where do black professional people live in Houston?" All over the place. Sure, there are some neighborhoods that are predominantly a few races but for the most part, race doesn't matter. You can live where ever you want to live and nobody will care or think anything of it.
