How does Economic Depression affect Small cities compared to Big cities?

Hi, is it affecting them: - Same way/extent? - Small cities more affected? - Big cities more affected? WHY? THANKS. PS. I know we are not there yet and it is currently just a recession but some people predict depression in like 5 years and I am interested to know what you think as it is related to my investment strategy.

1. it depends. if you live in a small town with people working for the government..economy will not be as bad. same for a big city. if the main source of income comes from private companies gone bad,..no matter how big your city is.. it will be bad. other thing to consider is how does the money flow to your town. is it thru rich europeans that go on hollyday? or is it thru blue collar workers?.
