What are the best US cities for transgendered people?

I've decided i need to get away from my redneck town and move somewhere trans friendly.

1. San Francisco or West Hollywood
2. NYC, SF, or WEHO
3. Your best bet would be any major city on either coast. Sadly acceptance of transgendered people lags far behind that of gay, lesbian, or bi Americans. Of course the only thing that will change that are people that are willing to live openly, be forthright, and interact outside of the inclusive nature of the Gay and Lesbian community. Good Luck to you. I would choose the west coast... at least the weather is better.
4. Phoenix, Flagstaff & Prescott Arizona are becoming really hip..

I have to say from my friendships with transgendered Friends.....San Francisco and 'certain' parts of L.A. as West Hollywood was mentioned.....yes it is fabulous for that...but there are pockets of humanity all over where you would fit just fine....safety is paramount ~ I know nothing enough of new York enough to tell u where would be good...but what I have stated I "KNOW" for sure. Yes by all means move..and should ou have questions regarding your move...please contact a gay,Les etc alliance in a given city and they will advise you......or should anyway. Do NOT (please) go where your dignity or safety would be compromised. I would love to say Ohio but they barely get the vote here still......California is your mecca honey...and probably I should go back too. Garbo
