Anyone know of fun things and places to do in South Carolina?

Me and my husband just want to go out and go do something either adventurous or explore places just something to get out of the house and everyday life. Please help thanks

1. Go to McDonalds? What? It's a favourite american pastime.
2. Take a tour of the National Parks and National Historic Sites in SC. There are Revolutionary War and Civil War Sites, a swamp,.... Pick up a National Parks Passport (they're about 8 bucks) and start "collecting" stamps. That's how my wife and I plan all our trips!
3. i found it neat to walk around and explore old mill this is where jim and tammy faye had their christian retreat not much left now but i still found it pretty neat not to mention free and while your in the area you might as well go the flea market and maybe even carowinds amusement park
