What are some things to do or places/towns to visit in North Carolina and South Carolina?

Also, what about Florida, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio. If you know anything about these states it would be helpful. Like fun cities/towns to go to. Well known and not well known places would be fine. Parks, Shopping, Tourist-y or not. Please include cities of States. thank you!! you are helping me so much!

1. Charleston (SC) is beautiful, as is Cape Hatteras National Seashore in NC. You can take hang gliding lessons at Jockey's Ridge State Park in the Outer Banks! Mammoth Caves NP (KY) is a great place too. You should get a National Parks Passport (cost about 8 bucks) and see how many places you can hit. My wife and I have been planning all our trips around National Parks since before we got married 13 years ago. It's an awesome way to get to see a whole variety of things in the U.S.
2. In Anderson, SC there is a 65 acre large flea market. It's called the Jockey Lot. jockeylot.com There are a lot of things to do in Charleston, SC. Shopping, the beach, historical tours, ghost tours, great food.
3. the only place i've been is lake charles LA and it is really nice down there
