1. Well, you can start acting no matter where you are. Here's a list of the things you need to do... -take drama at your school and participate in all plays -take acting lessons and if you have the money, singing and dancing too -ask around in your local area if any theaters have roles for people your age and if not offer to help backstage -watch A LOT of movies and study what makes a good actor good and bad actor bad -read plays and try to imagine the situation the characters are put in -memorize 1 comedic monologue and 1 dramatic and PRACTICE them alot Once you've done most of the things on this list you're ready to start auditioning or getting an agent (i recommend getting an agent) If you have an acting coach, they will most likely know of some acting agencies that you can interview for. Having an agent will help you book a lot more jobs than you would on your own, just be careful not to get scammed (if the ask for ANY money up front, it's a scam--the agents only get a percentage of what you earn, no more) Good Luck!!
