Best place to live in South carolina close to the beach..?

We are a family of four, me my husband a 2yr old and 5 month old baby , looking to relocate in South Carolina close to the family , can anybody please tell me where will be the best place to move not too expensive , job opportunity and close to the beach .. of course we also looking for a paceful town and good schools for my kids .. please help!!! we r planning to go there this summer for a week vacation and look around but will be very helpful if u tell us where to check..thanks in advanced!!!

2. Well, South Carolina is a big state, so depending on where you want to live may not be closest to your family, but in could be in that neighborhood. It's nice living near great beaches, but there's negatives about that too, such as tourists flooding your town during the summer. I'd say Myrtle Beach is probably the best, but they deal with this problem more than anyone else. Go where also works best with your jobs and the schools for your kid's too. South Carolina's generally a moderately affluent state, definitely compared to inland deep southern states, but much of the state is rural and not in close proximity to big cities, with lots of work, so much of the revenue that is brought is relies on tourism (ex. beaches) and agriculture.
