What is the best and safest place to live in america?

Iam a full time dancer in oz, im considering trying out for a company in america, i just wanted to know where the safest place is to live in america? i want sumwhere away from shootings, land slides, earthquakes.... etc etc...tornados.... ciao xxx SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!

2. Alaska? Everyone's too cold to go out and shoot anyone else Suppose you might have the odd bear or moose though On the down side you'll be cold
3. i think new orleans cuz big disasters only hit so often and that city just got one a few years ago so i'd say its probably gonna be safe for a long time now
4. well... that depends, do you want the *best* place to live? or the *safest* place to live? the safest, from experience, would be somewhere in the midwest... probably a smaller town. as for *the best*- this is not it by far! i think everywhere is going to have their fair share of crime, you just have to be smart and as safe as possible.

FLORIDA! but dont live too close to the beach, hurricanes aren't too bad and we haven't gotten a moderate storm for what? over a year. live in a nice neighborhood in the palm beaches.. there's plenty of ghetto places you want to avoid. umm also could try ohio maybe, some of the east coast states too, like N carol, S. carol and small towns in virginia etc. idk. or do you mean NY. cause if you mean NY i can't help you. =]
6. Do you know how HUGE America is?!!!!!! Where abouts is your intended company? East Coast, West Coast, Deep South? These are over 20 hrs driving time apart! No one State is safer than another, but certain towns/cities are safer than other towns/cities in each state. You need to be a bit more specific!
